Hello buddy, I'm having the same problem even though I've installed the new ordered module(GM-12823800)back in December 2022. But i must mention that at the workshop they haven't installed it using the MDI and because I don't have and cannot find one, I need help. In the past month I'm getting daily error messages on the dashboard with the (Service Steering Column Lock). Please be so kind as to post the video of how you've programmed it using this MDI thing. Hi, great video, I have been struggling to find help in finding a Chinese model for my 2014 Toyota Sequoia with the JBL system. There a very few places where you can get someone to answer the phone to walk you through buying the right equipment. I am hoping the car tech studio company can walk me through the buying process to make sure I get the right equipment. With that said, what brand are their head units? I was planning on buying one of these for my ng9-3, it seemed to be exactly what i'm looking for at first. But i have a slight ocd problem with glary/reflective screens and i from what i see in your video and a couple of other videos i watched that the screen, as sharp, colorful and bright looks, also looks very reflective and mirror like? I would not want that on my dashboard. Am i right about this or is it just how it looks on video?

@SaabUnleashed i have a question for you! I am looking into getting s new android head unit for my mk4 jetta tdi, ive been looking into the brand Owtosin, do you havr any opinions on them? They are an ali express brand of course, im mostly interested in this specific unit because its designed to be a factory looking 7" double din replacement with physical volume and tuning knob and physical buttons, runs android 12, can choose between any 4-12gb 64-256gb models with either a snapdragon 665, UIS7862 or UIS7870 for processors ( was thinking ill opt for 7870 i think seems to be best cpu to me?), has 1024x600 ips display, can choose between tda7851 or tcb503 amp chip depending on cpu choice, tda7708 tuner, bt5.0 360 cam support, hdmi, dsp and all that other good stuff. My only concern is software. They also have 9" trim replacement versions that run a 2k display, android 14, snapdragon 655 cpu, 12gb or 8gb ram with 256gb rom, tda7851 amp DTS DSP and all the other good stuff but no physical buttons or knobs especially being the 2k screen no touch buttons at all! What would you reccomended and what are your thoughts? I realize i can change my launcher and all that but will i run into any other limitations or issues software wise i should be aware of?

Will you review Eonon X3 and explain how to connect it to SWC in Saab 9-3 without adapter? You had problems with SWC in previous Eonon x20.

I'm very happy with it (chose that after your review 👍👍👍), but as it doesn't have a HDMI output, so, I am trying to look for other brands for my RV. Thank you in advance!

Good to see you back! I just replaced the Eonon Q040 pro for the newer UA13 in my 2008 Saab 9-3. But, I just noticed that both units add some sort of subtle “static/ground” noise when there is nothing playing or the volume is all the way down. I used the same loom kit you are using. Just wondering if you are experiencing that in your Saab. I got a new Sony stereo to test and I’m getting the same, so it is not necessarily the android unit.

I'm getting a new head unit as my SAAB sat-nav unit is knackered for some strange reason, but getting an audio centre to fit it, but to save anyone accidentally breaking the vents or damaging the facia, I'll remove it myself, so thanks for enabling me to do that.

Thank you for providing exceptional informative content! Just bought the Eonon UA12S Plus-6G. Installed it last week, and i'm pretty impressed by the sound and overall build quality. It fits and sound perfect in my Audi A4 B7 2006 convertible. I'm struggling a little bit though with my Apple Carplay connection - it comes on-and-off trying to reconnect to the Iphone while driving. I must say that i am still missing to install the 2x 4G antennas and GPS antenna, so that might help on this? But i wonder what the blue WIFI antenna lead is for on the back of the headunit. On the connection pinout overview from Eonon it is number 29? What is the purpose of this lead - does anyone know? Regards Jakob

I'd love to see a review on an AliExpress head unit called Ownice. It seems to be placed between Mekede/ATOTO and EKIY in price and features. They even offer an almost 2K resolution version (2000x1200) as well as an optical out and other mid to high end features. But they seem to be fairly new. Their K6+ model was released in '23 and has the same 7863 processor that several of the faster units have. They also offer complete kits with bezels and harnesses for your car.
